How it started

It started with a game serverand a week of googling.

Noemo did not begin as a company. It began in 2019, with a Counter-Strike server that nobody else was hosting properly.

  1. 2019

    A server, and a week of nights

    Mameed was already writing front-end code for a living. During lockdown he and his friends wanted a game server of their own — the public ones were either down or full of cheaters. There was no AI to ask, so he spent a week googling domains, servers and security. The server went up, and he came out of that week knowing back-end and DevOps too.

  2. 2019

    The first landing page

    Everyone was at home and full of ideas. A friend of a friend asked for a website, and that became the first landing page. Then the next one. Word of mouth did the rest — three or four small sites a month, on top of a full-time job.

  3. 2020

    A real company, in Tashkent

    A year after the first paying client, the work no longer fitted into evenings. Mameed registered the business in Uzbekistan. It grew quietly on referrals, into a team that could take on design, development and the systems behind them — and bring in specialists on contract whenever a project needed a stack we did not keep in-house.

  4. 2025

    Sweden, and a hundred rejections

    Mameed handed the day-to-day to his partners, who still run it, and moved to Sweden for a master's degree. He applied for more than 150 jobs and collected over 100 rejections. There was a great deal of free time and not much being done with it.

  5. 2026

    Noemo Sverige, in one week

    One sleepless night he decided to stop applying and start building. A friend from Uzbekistan, now studying in Umeå, joined him. In a week they registered the domain, built the site, set up the mail and sent the first offers to Swedish companies. The team in Tashkent said yes to Swedish projects the same day.

Don't be afraid to start over, or to start small. Rome wasn't built in a day, and even the greatest person in history began by learning to crawl. Noemo is starting small in Sweden too.

What we believe

Good work gets lost betweenplanning, design and code.So we do all three.One studio takes the brief,builds it, launches it,and keeps it running.

  1. You talk to the people who build it.

    There is no account manager in between. Whoever answers the first call is the one doing the work.

  2. Something real in week one.

    A working prototype tells you more than a slide deck — while changing your mind is still cheap.

  3. We stay after launch.

    Hosting, updates and the small Tuesday fixes stay with us. It is easier to build something well when you know you will live with it.

  4. We say no when we should.

    If a project is outside what we can do well, you hear it on the first call — not in month three.

We are not trying to be the biggest studio in Sweden. We would rather be the one that still answers in three years.
